Daria Tsoupikova 'Hummingbird' presented by Goodman Theatre

Chicago's Tony Award-winning Goodman Theatre's Newstages Festival 2021 presents 'Hummingbird' by Daria Tsoupikova, Professor of Digital Media Design and Co-Director of BS in Computer Science and Design.

'Hummingbird' is a live, immersive adventure that transforms theatrical storytelling utilizing cutting-edge, virtual reality technology. This interactive experience examines the potential to reimagine theatrical storytelling by bridging art, science and live theater. It is a collaborative research effort between faculty and students in computer science and design at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Electronic Visualization Laboratory (EVL).
