Hector Silva named IDSA Young Educator of the Year

Hector Silva, UIC ID MDes 2015, has been named Young Design Educator of the Year by the Industrial Design Society of America (IDSA). Hector began his teaching career at UIC as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. For the past two years he has served as Adjunct Assistant Professor in the UIC Design First Year Program. This fall Hector assumes a new role as a Research Assistant Professor of Industrial Design at the University of Notre Dame.
