Other Forms (Jack Henrie Fisher and Alan Smart) will conduct a strategy session on alternative models for academic publishing at the annual College Art Association meeting in New York City on Saturday, February 18, 2017.
Other Forms will present recent publication projects in the context of considering how new and hybridized forms of publishing might facilitate new types of intellectual projects. The discussion will focus on the potentials of alternative publishing to engage with and call into being new audiences and “counter publics” within (and without) the academy.
