Jack Henrie Fisher to participate in College Art Association panel discussion
Jack Henrie Fisher, Assistant Professor of Graphic Design will participate (virtually) in a panel and workshop at the College Art Association in NYC on Wednesday, February 10. The session "Imagining an Alternative School of Art", will be facilitated by the Arts and Labor Working Group.
Jack will be talking about his experience helping to organize the JVE A: a fugitive and trans-disciplinary collective for research in art, design, and theory. He will address how design can be mobilized to resist forms of institutional legibility and to make possible new models of collective production.
JVE A is an institutional errance or error, periodically moving to different places, and acquiring multiple meanings for its acronym, in the continually reshaped attempt to find frames for a heterogeneous and polemic set of practices.
