The University of Illinois Chicago, in collaboration with the Design Museum of Chicago, is excited to present “A2Z: Learning through LEGO® and Letterforms”. This exhibition highlights the research developed at the School of Design by Clinical Assistant Professor Pedro Neves, over the past three years. It investigates relationship between LEGO® bricks and typography through letterpress printing, exploring key questions in design pedagogy through a hands-on approach. It focuses on systematic thinking and collaborative practice in typographic design.

It spotlights the work of students, established designers, artists, and printmakers from all around the world, and their unique approaches on designing letterforms using this modular system.
